Football Game Preview: Pinellas Park Patriots vs. East Lake Eagles

Pinellas Park is 0-4 against East Lake since March of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Patriots will face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Pinellas Park's defense has only allowed 13.1 points per game this season, so East Lake's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Pinellas Park is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They never let Largo get on the board and left with a 34-0 victory. That 34 point margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

Despite a strong season so far, East Lake has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They took a 12-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Petersburg on Tuesday.

East Lake didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Mia Higgins.

East Lake's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Pinellas Park, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.
