Volleyball Recap: Eastern Alamance Starts Season with Win Against Rockingham County

Eastern Alamance had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Rockingham County Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Eastern Alamance had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-8, 25-15, 25-17.

Coincidentally, Eastern Alamance and Rockingham County will both be playing Northern Guilford the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Nighthawks at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Eagles will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
