Pine Grove has gone 8-2 against Myrtle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Pine Grove is taking a road trip to face off against Myrtle at 7:00 p.m. Pine Grove is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Pine Grove came up short against East Union on Saturday, falling 11-1.

Meanwhile, Myrtle didn't have quite enough to beat University School of Jackson on Saturday and fell 5-4.

Myrtle saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was BJ Treadaway, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Myrtle's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5. As for Pine Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Pine Grove took their win against Myrtle when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 16-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pine Grove since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
