Haddonfield won the last time they faced Woodbury, and things went their way on Saturday too. The Haddonfield Bulldawgs won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Woodbury Thundering Herd 21-20.

A big part of the win came down to the chemistry between Dan Keenan and his top target Mike Keenan. Dan rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries while Mike gained 46 total yards and two touchdowns. Mike also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception. Backing up that air attack was Brody Leonard, who rushed for 89 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Haddonfield's defense and their six sacks. Leading the way was Logan Rhea with 2.5.

Despite the defeat, Woodbury had strong showings from Dale Thomas, who rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and Marquis Taylor, who picked up 94 receiving yards and a touchdown. Thomas got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 70 yards.

Haddonfield's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Haddonfield will host Willingboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Haddonfield will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak dating back to last season alive. As for Woodbury, they will welcome Salem at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
