Basketball Recap: Coachella Valley Comes Up Short

Coachella Valley lost against Brawley back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs fell 63-52 to the Brawley Wildcats.

Defeat or not, Coachella Valley got some senior leadership from Sebastian Garcia and Franky Aguirre. Garcia went 6 of 11 en route to 15 points, while Aguirre posted 11 points and four steals. That's the most points Garcia has posted since back in November of 2023. Another player making a difference was Jacob Diaz, who had six points.

Coachella Valley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season. As for Brawley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.

Coachella Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-57 win against Twentynine Palms on the 7th. As for Brawley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-45 victory against Calipatria on the 3rd.
