It was a good run, but Stone Memorial unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Stone Memorial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashely Whittenburg, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Stone Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Livingston Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Stone Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Livingston Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Upperman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Bees at the right time seeing as the Bees are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
