Marshfield had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the McDonald County Mustangs, posting a 72-43 win. The Bluejays have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

McDonald County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jamie Washam, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards, and Dakota O'Brien, who posted 19 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. O'Brien's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Brionna Ziemianin also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Marshfield's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for McDonald County, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Marshfield is taking a road trip to square off against Blue Eye at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McDonald County, they will face off against Springfield Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
