Baseball Recap: Bastrop Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bastrop can now relate to. They fell just short of the Weiss Wolves by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Bastrop's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Weiss, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 19-6-2.

While Bastrop had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
