Basketball Recap: Zanesville Beats Northridge for Their Third Straight Win

Zanesville extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Lucca Wood. The Zanesville Blue Devils narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Northridge Vikings 56-53 thanks in part to Wood, who went 10 for 15 on his way to 34 points. Those 34 points gave him a new career-high.

Zanesville's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Zanesville has already played their next match (against Licking Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Northridge is taking a road trip to challenge Newark Catholic at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Northridge has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
