Salpointe Catholic came tearing into Thursday's match with 14 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Prescott Badgers. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Badgers, too.

While Salpointe Catholic might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Prescott scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Reyes Gardner-Figueroa, who had 14 digs and two aces. That's the most digs he has posted since back in April.

Salpointe Catholic's victory was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 29-8. As for Prescott, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-14.

As of now, neither Salpointe Catholic nor the Badgers have any future games scheduled.
