Basketball Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss

Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 54-47 to the Chestatee War Eagles. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the War Eagles from their previous meeting back in January.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Chestatee, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johnson will take on North Hall in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 67.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Chestatee and White County will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The War Eagles will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 76.89 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
