Clark/Willow Lake came out on top in a nail-biter against Lennox on Saturday, sneaking past 58-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cyclones have posted since January 22, 2024.

Meanwhile, Great Plains Lutheran came into Friday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 56-46 win over Sioux Falls Lutheran on Friday.

Great Plains Lutheran's win came from a few key players Clark/Willow Lake will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Austin Rubendall, who posted 12 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Holien, who had ten points and four steals.

Clark/Willow Lake's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Great Plains Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Clark/Willow Lake was able to grind out a solid victory over Great Plains Lutheran in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 51-39. Will Clark/Willow Lake repeat their success, or does Great Plains Lutheran have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
