Soccer Recap: Mt. St. Joseph Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

Mt. St. Joseph Academy's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Long Trail on Thursday. The Green Wave walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bellows Falls Terriers.

Jada Hughes and Riley Collins scored all three of Mt. St. Joseph Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Mt. St. Joseph Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Bellows Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mt. St. Joseph Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Mill River at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Bellows Falls will challenge rival Twin Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
