Football Recap: Rock Canyon Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Grandview + How To Watch

Rock Canyon faced Grandview in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Jaguars received a blow as they fell 27-12 to the Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 25-14 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Although Rock Canyon took the loss, they still got scores from Sophia Bonnstetter and Anna Spielmann.

Grandview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Abby Kirkpatrick out in front who picked up 44 receiving yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 41 yards. Brooke Sullivan was another key passer, throwing for 178 yards and three touchdowns.

Rock Canyon now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Grandview, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.
