Volleyball Recap: Excelsior Classical Academy Has No Trouble Against Triangle Math & Science

Excelsior Classical Academy won the last time they faced Triangle Math & Science and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Flying Lions put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-16.

Juniper Wells paced Excelsior Classical Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Wells got some help from Alejandra Orozco and her 14 assists. Wells was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

The victory got Excelsior Classical Academy back to even at 9-9. As for Triangle Math & Science, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Excelsior Classical Academy will face off against Vance Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Flying Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Triangle Math & Science, they will host Voyager Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
