Atlantic Shores Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Hampton Roads Academy 3-2. That's two games straight that Atlantic Shores Christian have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, North Cross was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eastern Mennonite.

North Cross' goal came courtesy of Isla Whittle, who's now up to 24 this season.

North Cross' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4-1. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-1-2.
