Keene won the last time they faced Winnacunnet and things went their way on Monday too. The Blackbirds put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 8-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blackbirds.

Brayden French made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. French was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Miles Desrosiers, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Solis Bergquist was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Keene's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Winnacunnet, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1.
