Monta Vista entered their tilt with Homestead on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Matadors: when they faced off against the Mustangs two weeks ago, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

The victory didn't come easy: Homestead scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 21-25, 25-22, 26-24.

Monta Vista's win bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Homestead, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8.
