Laurence Manning Academy extended their winning streak to five on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 24-3 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Wilson Hall Barons. Five seems to be a good number for the Swampcats as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

As for Wilson Hall, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Wilson Hall's part, Caroline Moorman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That double was Moorman's first of the season.

As of now, neither Laurence Manning Academy nor Wilson Hall have any future games scheduled.
