Baseball Recap: Chino Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

While Chino put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Montclair. The Cowboys were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Cavaliers. Considering the Cowboys have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Xiovany Ochoa was incredible, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Grant Kuhns Vasquez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with five RBI.

Chino always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .519 or higher in four consecutive matches.

Chino's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Montclair, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-16 record.

As of now, neither Chino nor the Cavaliers have any future games scheduled.
