Basketball Recap: Wood River Takes a Loss

Wood River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Ogden Tigers, falling 78-41.

Several Wolverines players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sully Carter, who posted ten points. Wyatt Crego was another key player, putting up ten points.

Wood River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Ogden, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

Wood River is taking a road trip to challenge Mountain Home at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wood River is facing Mountain Home at the right time seeing as Mountain Home is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Ogden, they will host Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
