1. Long Island Lutheran (Brookville)
2013-14 record: 23-2, Federation state champions
Head coach: Rich Slater

Replete with 10 returnees, one does stand out for the Crusaders, and it's a name you can't help but remember: senior point guard Lauren "Boogie" Brozoski, the MVP of the Class AA Federation title game with 18 points and four assists as Long Island Lutheran won its third state Federation title in the last four years. Brozoski averaged 19.5 points and six assists for the season.

2. St. Anthony's (Melville)
2013-14 record: 24-6, CHSAA state champions
Head coach: Ken Parham

Tested by a tough schedule, the Friars thrived, doing it with depth and balanced scoring. Nine players return from that squad, including 6-foot-3 junior center Jayla Jones-Pack, junior forward Taylor Goode, junior guard Allyson Murphy, a solid scorer and superb defender, as well as sophomore guard Maia Moffitt.

3. Ossining
2013-14 record: 25-3, state Class AA champions
Head coach: Dan Ricci

A senior-laden Ossining team managed to repeat as state champions without the star of its previous title-winning squad, UConn sophomore Saniya Chong. Junior guard/forward Shadeen Samuels came on strong and won state tournament MVP honors with 31 points and a state-record six 3-pointers in the title game. Also back is senior center Jalay Knowles, who had 42 points and 20 rebounds in the state regional semifinals.

2013-14 record: 21-5, PSAL Class AA champions
Head coach: Stephen Tsai

Junior guard Sierra Green is one of the top shooters in New York City as her 19 points-per-game scoring average from 2013-14 attests. Senior backcourt mate Chi La Bady also returns on a team that will once again be marked by its quickness and athleticism coming off a season in which it ended Murry Bergtraum's 15-year PSAL title run.
