Soccer Recap: Pittsfield Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pittsfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northampton Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, Pittsfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Northampton are ranked fourth).

Pittsfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Northampton, their record is now 8-0-1.

Coming up, Pittsfield will square off against Minnechaug Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northampton, they will take on Amherst-Pelham Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
