Softball Recap: Swampscott Comes Up Short

Swampscott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 12-7 to the Everett Crimson Tide. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Big Blue of the 8-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2018.

Swampscott now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Everett, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Swampscott will head out to challenge Manchester Essex at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Everett, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lowell at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
