Softball Recap: Overhills Comes Up Short

Overhills fell victim to Western Harnett and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Eagles. The Jaguars have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Overhills saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daisha Gwynn, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Overhills now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Western Harnett, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Overhills is set to take on their familiar foe Westover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Western Harnett will square off against rival Terry Sanford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
