Basketball Recap: Houston Takes a Loss

Houston lost against Kingsland back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Houston Hurricanes fell 71-63 to the Kingsland Knights.

Loss or not, Houston got some senior leadership from Carter Geiwitz and Morgan Rohweder. Geiwitz went 9-for-14 on his way to 28 points and five rebounds, while Rohweder posted 21 points and eight boards. The match was Rohweder's 11th in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Olson, who scored two points along with five boards and five steals.

Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Kingsland, their win bumped their record up to 15-10.

Coming up, Houston will take on Mabel-Canton at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Kingsland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wabasha-Kellogg at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
