Mountain View had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came out on top against the Mesa Jackrabbits by a score of 3-1. For the Toros, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Jackrabbits walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 25-11, 25-12.

Ava Kounkel paced Mountain View's offense, picking up ten kills. Kounkel got some help from Emma Freeman and her 16 assists. Nikolina Djordjevich controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Mesa, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-21.

Mountain View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against O'Connor on the 20th. As for Mesa, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Westwood on the 21st.
