Baseball Preview: Red Bank Lions vs. Chattanooga Christian Chargers        
        
		
            The Red Bank Lions will face off against the Chattanooga Christian Chargers at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Red Bank's offense. They took  a  3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Walker Valley on Tuesday. The  game marked the first time this season in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.
 Red Bank saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Anyer Alvarez, who  went 1-for-3 with one  double.
Meanwhile, Chattanooga Christian put another one in the bag  on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Marion County 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won four matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Holden Lyons looked comfortable as he  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Those  zero  hits allowed gave  him a new career-low.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Keegan Nieckula, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  five  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  John Tinholt, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Chattanooga Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .528. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Chattanooga Christian pushed their record up to 8-0 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Red Bank, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record  this season.
