Basketball Recap: Bellwood-Antis Comes Up Short

Bellwood-Antis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 65-46 to the Huntingdon Bearcats. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Despite the loss, Bellwood-Antis still got an impressive performance from Martin Fatzinger, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 12 points and eight boards. Those 12 points gave Fatzinger a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Dorminy, who posted 13 points.

Bellwood-Antis' record now sits at 0-3. As for Huntingdon, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellwood-Antis will welcome Philipsburg-Osceola at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Huntingdon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Penns Valley Area at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Huntingdon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
