Oxon Hill came tearing into Wednesday's match with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They didn't even let College Park Academy on the board, marking their second-straight 3-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Clippers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Oxon Hill was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-8.

Aniah Bass paced Oxon Hill's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bass got some help from Willoe Harris and her 16 assists. Madison Simmons controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Oxon Hill's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for College Park Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Oxon Hill will square off against Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for College Park Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
