Basketball Recap: Ocean Lakes Comes Up Short

Ocean Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 33rd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 58-32 to the Cox Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dolphins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-27 back in December of 2024.

Ocean Lakes' record now sits at 0-18. As for Cox, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Ocean Lakes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-42 defeat against Hickory on the 8th. As for Cox, they will take on Great Bridge at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
