Baseball Recap: Lakin Takes a Loss

Lakin lost to Colby on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Broncs came up short against the Eagles, falling 9-3. The Broncs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakin now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Colby, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakin will face off against Stanton County at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Colby, they will head out to face off against Cimarron at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bluejays have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
