Chanhassen won against Waconia on Friday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Storm never let the Southwest Christian Stars get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Storm as they're now sitting on three straight.

Chanhassen pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Southwest Christian, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chanhassen will head out to take on St. Louis Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Storm's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Orioles have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Southwest Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Delano at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Stars' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
