Both  will face off  at 7:00  p.m.  without much rest having both just played. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
La Veta took a loss when they played away from home  on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Friday. They claimed a resounding  56-12 win over Antonito. With the Redhawks ahead  32-6 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.

 La Veta had a senior duo take command as  Isiah Rodriguez  posted 18  points and four  steals and  Lukas Ozzello  went 6 of 11  on his way to 14 points and five  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Rodriguez has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kendall Ingram, who  put up six  points and six  steals.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Custer County). They put the hurt on Sangre de Cristo with a sharp  59-37 victory on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bobcats considering their 29-point performance the  contest before.
 The  win  got La Veta back to even at 3-3. As for Custer County, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
