Basketball Recap: Bergenfield Comes Up Short

Bergenfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Dumont Huskies, falling 57-33. The Bears were not able to make up for their loss to the Huskies from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Bergenfield's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Dumont, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6.

Bergenfield has already played their next match (against NV - Demarest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dumont will face off against Fort Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dumont is facing Fort Lee at the right time seeing as Fort Lee is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
