Volleyball Recap: First Baptist Academy Triumphs

First Baptist Academy posted their closest win since September 8th on Tuesday. They skirted past the Patoka Warriors 2-1. This was payback for First Baptist Academy, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was First Baptist Academy who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 24-26, 25-13.

First Baptist Academy now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Patoka, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

First Baptist Academy will venture away from home to challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Patoka, they will host Brownstown/St. Elmo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
