Softball Recap: Millbrook Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Millbrook can now relate to. They lost 10-0 to the Tuscarora Huskies on Tuesday. The Pioneers haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Millbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Tuscarora, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Millbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tuscarora, they will square off against Warhill at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
