Football Recap: Rincon/University Rangers vs. Rio Rico Hawks
Friday just wasn't the day for Rincon/University's offense. They were beaten by the Rio Rico Hawks 33-0 on Friday. The Rangers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.
Yahel Clark had an outrageously good game for Rio Rico as he rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. The dominant performance gave Clark a new career-high in rushing yards. Jahred Bravo got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Rincon/University's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Rio Rico, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
