Basketball Recap: Russellville Takes a Loss

Russellville suffered their biggest defeat since December 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Harrisburg Bulldogs 74-44. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 80th).

Russellville's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Harrisburg, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Russellville will welcome Eugene at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Eugene's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 13 matches. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Mexico will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Harrisburg surely won't give up without a fight.
