Softball Game Preview: Warren Warriors vs. Athens Bulldogs

The Warren Warriors will face off against the Athens Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Warren fell victim to Caldwell and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Redskins, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Athens). They put the hurt on Nelsonville-York with a sharp 18-6 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Buckeyes: they've now won five in a row.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Athens, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
