Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Sheehan

Sheehan won the last time they faced Coginchaug Regional and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Sheehan Titans walked away with a 62-54 victory over the Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils. The win was all the more spectacular given the Titans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 25th).

Sheehan's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Coginchaug Regional, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheehan will head out to challenge Maloney at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Coginchaug Regional, they are taking a road trip to take on Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
