Basketball Preview: STX Saints vs. West Texas T Tornadoes
The STX Saints will take on the West Texas T Tornadoes in a tournament on Saturday.
Two weeks ago, STX ended up a good deal behind Panhandle Christian Home Educators and lost 71-54.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Lucian Lopez, who went 6-for-10 en route to 12 points along with five boards and three blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caedmon Williams, who posted 11 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, West Texas T had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Hornets 60-57.
West Texas T's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for STX, their loss dropped their record down to 19-13.
STX beat West Texas T 56-43 in their previous meeting on February 6th. Will STX repeat their success, or does West Texas T have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
