Football Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short

Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 50-20 loss at the hands of the Stillman Valley Cardinals. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Stillman Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lutheran is set to face off against their familiar foe Winnebago at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Stillman Valley will square off against rival Byron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
