After losing to Chester the last time they met, Loyalton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Loyalton had just enough and edged out Chester 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grizzlies.

Loyalton's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Chester, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Coming up, Loyalton will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chester, they will take on Princeton in a tournament on Saturday. Princeton has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.5 runs per game on average), something Chester will no doubt try to take advantage of.
