Basketball Recap: Greenville Tech Charter Comes Up Short

Greenville Tech Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a blow against the High Point Academy Grizzlies, falling 89-39. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-18.

Leading High Point Academy to victory were J'Sean Sanders and Jaden McNeil. Sanders went 9 of 13 en route to 18 points along with six boards and five assists, while McNeil almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave McNeil a new career-high in boards. Chonci Miller was another key player, going 7 for 11 on his way to 15 points.

Greenville Tech Charter's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for High Point Academy, the victory (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.
