Baseball Recap: Dubuque Senior Comes Up Short

Dubuque Senior was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Western Dubuque Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 8-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Dubuque Senior's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Western Dubuque, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dubuque Senior will head out to challenge Xavier at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Western Dubuque, they will venture away from home to square off against Kennedy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight.
