Baseball Recap: Sherman Comes Up Short

Sherman lost against South Charleston back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tide came up short against the Black Eagles, falling 8-1. The Tide have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sherman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Hamrick, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Sherman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for South Charleston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sherman will welcome Belfry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Charleston, they will challenge George Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
