Sultan took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Vashon Island 3-0.

Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, La Conner's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Darrington. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Braves have suffered since November 13, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-14.

La Conner's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-5-1. As for Sultan, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8-1.
