Basketball Recap: Anaconda Takes a Loss

Anaconda was the 53-42 winner over Florence-Carlton when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. 2025 welcomed the Anaconda Copperheads with a 67-46 loss courtesy of the Florence-Carlton Falcons on Saturday. The Copperheads have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anaconda's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Florence-Carlton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anaconda will challenge Butte Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Florence-Carlton, they will head out on the road to square off against Stevensville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
