Baseball Recap: Chatham Central Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chatham Central can now relate to. They came up short against Bear Grass Charter on Tuesday, falling 9-1.

Chatham Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter King, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Chatham Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Bear Grass Charter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3.

Chatham Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bear Grass Charter, they will host Falls Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
